In a press release, FlixBus explains that this bus operates between Porto, Vila Real, Amarante and Bragança, in a partnership between the company and the local operator Auto Viação Feirense.
“It's just a small step but it represents a lot for sustainable mobility in Portugal. For FlixBus, it is to continue the project we have to provide millions of people with sustainable and accessible mobility, and we ensure that intercity buses, the so-called express ones, are also central to the green mobility revolution”, says Pablo Pastega, general director of FlixBus for Portugal and Spain.
In the coming weeks, indicates FlixBus, the company will receive a bus equipped with solar panels and that will operate on the international line that connects Lisbon to Madrid.
