The
event is organised by stakeholders in the Northwest region to promote the
notion that a global career can be had in the region while still getting the
best out of ‘local living’. Eventgoers will get the chance to meet with the
executives leading both the indigenous and multinational companies in the
region, including Optum, AbbVie, VistaMed, and SL Systems, among others. In
all, Donegal, Sligo, and Leitrim are home to over 50 multinational companies.
There
will also be local authorities present to inform eventgoers on the more
practical side of living in the Northwest, such as information on relocating,
public transport, and housing. Furthermore, Atlantic Technological University
will have a presence at the event to highlight the latest research projects in
the region.
Remarking
on the event, Minister of State for Trade Promotion and Digital Transformation,
Dara Calleary T.D., said: “As we see a continuing rise in employment figures in
high value jobs in the Northwest, this event offers a unique chance for senior
executives to engage directly with industry leaders in the region to explore
the current roles and potential future business opportunities.”
The
event will take place in the Westbury Hotel on the 9th of February.
