The general secretary of the Union of Consular Workers and Diplomatic Missions Abroad (STCDE), who decreed the strike for the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th and April 24 at consular posts, diplomatic missions and cultural centers in Camões - Institute for Cooperation and Language Abroad, said that the initial spirit of talks seems to have been resumed.
The union was called to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for a meeting last Friday, after which the forwarding of the negotiation led the union structure to cancel the protest.
One of the guarantees given by the guardianship was the resumption of negotiations with a view to revising the salary scales, with the first meeting scheduled for next Monday.
