Keen gardeners are able to apply for one of the allotments until 17 May.
Applications can be made by filling in the application form, which is available on the Municipality's website, where it is also possible to consult the rules governing the use of the allotments.
“With the price of food products, namely fruit and vegetables skyrocketing over the last few months, these vegetable gardens could be an important support for families in the municipality with greater socioeconomic vulnerability”, says the municipality.
The use of the Urban Gardens of Loulé will be completely free, but requires compliance with the established rules, the correct use of the available resources and a healthy coexistence between the users.
The water used to irrigate the plots comes from Bicas Velhas.
