According to Publituris, this new five-star hotel with 65 rooms and suites is located 240 metres from Praça da Batalha and a 500-metre walk from Rua de Santa Catarina, and is located in an old neoclassical palace from the 19th century that belonged to an old bourgeois family.

In the rehabilitation project “the architectural characteristics of the building were respected”, as explained to Publituris Hotelaria Ana Fernandes, Sales Representative of this new unit. The interior design has the signature of António Tramontano, “one of the Italian partners in the project”.

The 65 rooms and suites of the GA Palace Hotel make use of the “palacial atmosphere of the building” to offer guests “comfort and glamour”.

Despite not mentioning the investment made in this unit, part of the GA HOTELS group, Ana Fernandes states that “the investment is structured to boost the group's other projects already in the pipeline”. As she reveals, the next investment will be in Rua da Fábrica, also in Porto, in a “smaller hotel, with 35 rooms and an Italian restaurant”.
