70% of the apartments in the condominium have already been reserved, two months before the beginning of construction, in the pre-launch phase of the project. The remaining 30% of the flats were reserved over just one morning.

This project is being promoted by Fergue, overseen by Plano Mais Arquitectura, with the commercial aspect being taken care of exclusively by dipe, a real estate company based in Guimarães.


A modern hideaway in birthplace of Portugal

The private condominium is located just a few minutes from the centre of Guimarães, known as the birthplace of Portugal. Its historic centre has been listed as a UNESCO world heritage site since 2001, and offers plenty to see and do with lots of places where you can sit back and soak in the atmosphere of this Portuguese gem.

The development of Vale S. Jorge is composed of 3+1 bedroom individual villas with swimming pools, and 2 - 3 bedroom flats, with a contemporary design, private swimming pools and walking paths connecting the different fractions.

The condominium is framed by the sloping hills surrounding the city, and there has been a clear focus put on implementing green spaces into the overall design of the project.


Demand for this unique project has been high from the beginning

According to Diogo Baptista Antunes, CEO of dipe, the demand seen is "due to this being a unique concept in Guimarães" and "validates the strategy of concession and commercialisation of the product, implemented by dipe. I also want to highlight the work done by dipe creative lab, led by our marketing and communication team, responsible for the creation of all the enterprise's branding".

He went on to emphasise the involvement of the real estate company from day zero: "this development is very important for us, because it is another project that began with a previous consulting phase carried out by dipe, through which we analysed the market demand, defined the persona and concept, and later promoted its integration with the architectural project".

Hélder Guedes, administrator of Fergue, the real estate promoter responsible for the project, shared that "This development fits perfectly in the positioning strategy that our company has been developing in the real estate market. Jorge Araújo, architect of the Plano Mais architecture office, revealed that "it was a challenge to find the formal balance between the villas and flats, in a way that allowed them to harmoniously combine with the valley".


Only a few properties still available for purchase

The sales opening in Vale S. Jorge took place on June 7 and there are now only villas available, with a market value starting at €440 000. The beginning of the construction works is scheduled to begin in a couple of month’s time.
