The captain is set to start at Estádio Laugardalsvöllur, as announced on Monday by coach Roberto Martinez, in a match in which Portugal is looking for its fourth triumph in the group.

After beating Bosnia-Herzegovina (3-0) on Saturday at Estádio da Luz, in Lisbon, the national team will come up against the Icelanders at Laugardalsvöllur Stadium.

Iceland-Portugal, from the fourth round of Group J qualifying for Euro2024, is scheduled for 19:45 (18:45 local time) and will be refereed by Daniel Siebert.
