This second edition of My Ami Buggy is based on the same principles as the first, with no roof and no doors. However, for protection from any weather, protection components have been added and modified. New plastic covers were fitted to protect occupants outside, as was a roof guard with an easier closing system.
Inside, the instrument panel, still positioned next to the steering column, features a new arched lid, which gives it a retro look.
The Citröen Ami is 100% electric and is equipped with a small 6 kW (or 8.2 hp) engine powered by a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 5.5 kWh. It offers 70 km distance when charged and charging it from a domestic socket takes about three hours.
