The festival returns to the gardens “with a series of unmissable summer nights, maintaining the successful formula with proposals full of charm and sophistication, reaching out to an adult and demanding audience”, highlights the organization.

Jardins do Marquês, which runs until July 5, starts today with shows by Michael Bolton, The Lucky Duckies, on the main stage, and by Jorge Fernando and Soraia Tavares, on the Nortada stage.

The concerts on the two stages are “interspersed, thus giving the public the possibility of attending four concerts on each date of the festival”.

Sara Correia, with the company Flamenco Passion, will be in the first part (main stage), Ciganos D'Ouro and Acácia Maior (Nortada), star in the second part of the festival, on Wednesday.

The next day, António Zambujo, Camané and Ricardo Ribeiro take to the main stage with Brazilian music classics. The first part of the show is led by Israel Fernández and Diego Del Morao.

On the same day, Viva o Samba and Nuno Lanhoso perform on the Nortada stage.

Liniker will perform on the main stage on Friday, preceded by Bala Quero. Young Dionísio and Roberta Sá pass through the Nortada stage.

Singer Maria Bethânia presents the show “Fevereiros” on Saturday, based on a documentary by Marcio Debellian about the artist. The first part of the concert will be by Pierre Aderne. On the same day, on the Nortada stage, A Cor do Som and Diana Castro perform.

On Sunday, Pink Martini will perform, with China Forbes as a guest, which will be preceded by Três da Manhã da Renascença (Joana Marques, Ana Galvão and Inês Lopes Gonçalves). The Nortada stage features Olavo Bilac, who will celebrate José Cid, and Picas.

The 3rd edition of the Jardins do Marquês festival ends on July 5th with Joss Stone, The Black Mamba (main stage), Tiago Nacarato and Milhanas (Nortada stage).

The festival grounds open at 6:30 pm, and the organisation recommends that the public “arrive early, in order to avoid constraints in traffic and parking”. In addition, “the use of comfortable shoes” is also recommended, as well as “a coat”.

The festival includes “an area with some food outlets and bars”.
