According to forecasts from the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA), the week of July 3 to 9 will be “typical” of summer, with “slightly cloudy or clear skies and dry weather”.

In the southern regions of the country, maximum temperatures are expected to reach values between 33 and 38ºC, in the North and Center maximum temperatures between 27 and 33ºC are expected, as the IPMA said in a statement.

Minimum temperatures will vary between 12 and 18 °C throughout the territory, “with the exception of the interior on the 3rd and the coast of the eastern Algarve throughout the week, with values between 18 and 22 °C” .

The sea water temperature will also be relatively inviting, with values between 15 and 19 °C on the west coast and between 20 and 24 °C on the south coast.
