Lisbon: Cloud cover will continue over the weekend in the capital with highs of 31 degrees on Saturday and 33 degrees on Sunday. From Monday the clouds are to disperse slightly but temperatures are to remain high with maximums of 33 degrees and lows of 19 degrees throughout the week.
The north: Rain is expected to continue on Saturday when there are to be highs of 28 degrees and lows of 21 degrees. On Sunday there will be no chance of rain and it will be feeling warmer with highs of 31 degrees. From Monday cloud cover is to become lighter and temperatures are to peak at 33 degrees.
The centre: Intermittent cloud cover is forecast on Saturday when temperatures are to peak at 35 degrees with lows of 19 degrees. Hazy high cloud is expected on Sunday with highs of 38 degrees and lows of 21 degrees. On Monday and Tuesday, thermometers are to hit the 40-degree mark, with lows of 21 degrees.
The south: Hazy high cloud is predicted throughout the weekend with highs of 33 degrees on Saturday and 36 degrees on Sunday when it will only drop to lows of 25 degrees at night. Clear skies are on the cards on Monday with some clouds forecast on Tuesday when there will be highs of 34 degrees.
Madeira: Intermittent cloud cover is forecast over the weekend with highs of 29 degrees on Saturday and 30 degrees on Sunday. On Monday clear skies are expected with highs of 31 degrees and lows of 24 degrees.
The Azores: The rain is to ease on Saturday when there will be highs of 26 degrees and lows of 20 degrees. From Sunday rain is then predicted for the remainder of the week each day with average daily highs of 26 degrees and nightly lows of 20 degrees.
