"In the month of July, youth unemployment fell (-0.3%) compared to the previous month, settling at the second lowest value ever (27,609 young people enrolled in the IEFP), only surpassed by the value of July 2022, when the historic minimum of youth unemployment has been reached".

In turn, total unemployment increased by 2.4%, compared to June, to 284,330 people.

However, this is the second lowest value in the month in question since there was a record.

In July, long-term unemployment increased by 2.5%, compared to the previous month, but had a decrease of 13.5% compared to the same period of the previous year.
