Humanity Summit 2023: Fast Track to Dignity & Social Justice

The Humanity Summit is an upcoming series of conferences focused on Dignity, Equality, and Freedom. Spanning multiple locations - UALG, Museu da Electricidade, Maat, Padrão dos Descobrimentos and Culturgest in Portugal from September 19th to 22nd, this summit aims to unite diverse individuals, including activists, government representatives, human rights champions, influential innovators, socially responsible investors, corporate leaders, and more. The goal is to amplify underrepresented voices, strategise, and execute urgent solutions for a better world.

The Humanity Summit provides a platform for discussing critical global challenges, fostering cross-cultural understanding, encouraging philanthropy and social responsibility, and advocating for financial inclusion through expert-led discussions and proposed solutions. It will explore the potential benefits and risks of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and robotics, while promoting philanthropy and social responsibility.

The Humanity Summit has established strategic partnerships with renowned national and international institutions, strengthening its global network of collaboration. Among the national partners, Casa do Impacto, Forbes Portugal, University of Algarve, EDP Foundation, Culturgest, Afrolink, RTP, Faro City Council, among others, stand out. The Film Festival, a part of the summit, will showcase and celebrate films from underrepresented communities, giving filmmakers an opportunity to express their creativity and contribute to the discourse on humanity. The festival will feature film screenings, panel discussions and workshops.

By recognising the importance of entrepreneurship and social impact businesses, the summit will support underrepresented impact entrepreneurs by providing resources, capital, mentorship, and networking opportunities. The aim is to break down barriers and create a more inclusive social impact ecosystem. Promoting diversity and inclusion across all sectors is crucial. Therefore, the event will discuss strategies for increasing diversity and inclusion in workplaces, schools, and organizations.
