Who am I? and where did I come from? this has been the greatest spiritual conundrum of all time. But you can sigh with relief, as I won’t trouble you with that right now—at least, not until you know me better. For the present, I’ll stick to the more conventional explanation for my existence.

I grew up in the suburbs of Coventry, in Warwickshire, UK. After three years at Coventry Art College, I began my career as a surrealist painter, being very influenced by Salvador Dali, with whom I became friendly, as I deliberately went to live near him on the Costa Brava in Spain. I later worked as a set and costume designer in theatres in many countries, during seven years of adventurous hitchhiking halfway around the world. And after a mysterious occurrence that changed my life (more on that another time) I ended up as a spiritual guide to thousands of yoga students around the globe.

My students are pressing me to get on with writing my wild and wacky life story, “Memoirs of a Maverick Mystic: Journeys from Dali to Delhi”. So you may get snippets from this work in progress. It will give you an idea of my life in the art world, theatre, and film, and my hairy backpacking travels down Africa and across half the world.

For the last 50 years, I have been deeply investigating and practicing many forms of yoga, diet, meditation, psychotherapeutic techniques, mysticism, and spirituality. So in this column, I will be expressing my observations on many of these themes, including life, death, the universe, and everything.

And maybe I might annoy the hell out of the authority blindsided with an occasional dash of controversial social comment or conspiratorial subjects. I warn you from the outset that I am a Conspiracy Realist, not a ‘theorist’. Over the past 30 years, I have witnessed that all the events that were mocked as ‘conspiracy theories’ have turned out to have been true conspiracies.

Conspiracy Realists are those who are capable of thinking outside the (TV) box. They are adept at joining the dots that the majority don’t even realise exist. Those conditioned only by what they are fed by the media, like to sneer at the more aware as ‘conspiracy theorists’. But such people act as the canary in the coal mine. Ignore the signs and you will be ‘quarantined’ before you know it.

However, now that the ‘Elites’ are blatantly telling us exactly what they are intending to impose on us, I’m fresh out of ‘conspiracies’, as none of them are theoretical anymore: they are actually happening.

However, I am also open to your questions and suggestions as to what subjects you might like me to cover.

After all my world-travelling adventures, I now live a quiet writer’s life as a virtual hermit in the hills of the Algarve, with only the denizens of my children’s books and a thousand geckos for company.
