Germany wants glyphosate to be banned across Europe.

It is already set to be “withdrawn from the market by the end of 2023" in Germany according to euronews. Glyphosate is the active substance in the well-known weed killer Roundup, owned by German multinational Bayer since 2018. In 2015, it was classified as a "probable carcinogen" for humans by the WHO.
