easyJet currently operates flights in Lisbon, Porto, Faro, Madeira and the Azores and Lundgren indicated that airport taxes “are an important factor to take into account when planning the network”.

“It's something that we're obviously looking at, because we have airports and certain parts of the network where we're getting fantastic deals with the airports, and we take that into consideration when we're allocating where planes are flying to, along with demand”, he explained.
