A market source told ECO that the litre of diesel, the most used fuel in Portugal, should fall by two cents and petrol by 2.5 cents.

From Monday, when you go to fill up, you will pay 1,724 euros per litre of simple diesel and 1,773 euros per litre of simple 95 petrol, taking into account the average values practiced at the pumps on Mondays, published by the Directorate- General Energy and Geology (DGEG).

These prices already take into account the discounts applied by gas stations and the review of temporary tax measures to help mitigate the increase in fuel prices.
