Diesel, the most widely used fuel in Portugal, is expected to fall by 2.5 cents and petrol by one cent, a market source told ECO. A fall that led the Finance Minister to maintain the position of ‘wait and see’ before changing the taxation that affects fuels.

When you fill-up next week, you should pay €1.644 per litre of regular diesel and €1.760 per litre of regular 95 petrol.

These values already take into account the discounts applied by petrol stations and the review of temporary tax measures to help mitigate the increase in fuel prices.
