OpenAI CEO, Sam Altman, revealed some of the figures that prove the success of ChatGPT - the popular generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) tool launched at the end of last year - at the company's first conference dedicated to developers.

ChatGPT was officially launched on 30 November 2022 and currently has a total of 100 million weekly active users. It's worth remembering that in the first two months it was available, ChatGPT managed to gather 100 million monthly users, which is a clear evolution that shows the growing popularity of the AI tool.

As reported by TechCrunch, OpenAI also said that the company's platform is used by more than two million developers, which includes 92 percent of Fortune 500 companies.
