In the 5th edition of Lisbon Art Weekend (LAW), which will be taking place between the 9th and 12th of November, national and international artists, established names, and emerging talents, will be side by side in a dialogue between different artistic manifestations.

The presence of the following has been confirmed: 3+1 Contemporary Art, Appleton, Atelier Concorde, Balcony Gallery, Casa da Liberdade – Mário Cesariny and Perve Galeria, Cristina Guerra Contemporary Art, Dialogue Gallery, Document, Duplex, Eritage Art Projects, Fábrica das Águas, Galeria 111, Galeria Bruno Múrias, Galeria Diferença, Galeria Filomena Soares, Galeria Foco, Galeria Francisco Fino, Galeria Miguel Nabinho, Galeria Nave, Vera Cortês Gallery, Hangar Centre for Artistic Research, Jahn und Jahn, Kunsthalle Lissabon, La Junqueira Artists Residency, Madragoa, Monitor Lisbon, mono, Movart, No-No Gallery, NowHere, Underdogs Gallery, Zaratan – Contemporary Art.

In some exhibitions, visitors will be led by the artists themselves or by the curators to ensure an understanding of the works presented.

A novelty in this edition is the launch of the Art Award, with the support of Idealista, the real estate and business market website, and RedCollectors, the art marketplace. The goal of this initiative is to acquire a work that will be part of the Idealista collection, with consultancy from RedCollectors. Both also collaborated in the 3D recording of exhibitions, which allowed them to increase the promotion of the event.

Opening the event, the Miguel Nabinho Gallery promotes guided tours of the works of Pedro Cabrita Reis on the 9th of November, until 6 pm. The tour, at Kunsthalle Lissabon, scheduled for 4 p.m. showcases the work of Teresa Solar. At 5 p.m., the artists Pedro Tudela and Sara Mealha will lead the visit to Appleton, an independent, non-profit space, which intends to contribute to the production and reflection of the contemporary thought and art practice of the world. The program continues until 10 p.m. with more visits.

On the 10th of November, starting at 12 p.m., it will be possible to get to know the studio and the work of the artist Diogo Evangelista, at the at the Coruchéus Library, by the Francisco Fino Gallery. There will be a guided tour of João Onofre's exhibition, which will occur at 3 p.m. at the Cristina Guerra Contemporary Art. At 5 p.m., at Duplex, the tour will be guided by the curator of the collective exhibition that brings together more than 50 artists. The Casa Dell'Arte Club House / Listambul, at 5.30 p.m., will be unveiling its private collection. At 7:30 pm, there will be a performance by Daniel V. Melim, at the Monitor.

On the 11th, there will be a brunch and a guided tour of the works of Rui Chafes and Olaf Metzel, at Jahn und Jahn. From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., with the goal to join the talk with the artist Márcio Vilela and the guided tour of the exhibition with brunch, at Galeria Foco, in Intendente. At 3 p.m., at the Filomena Soares Gallery, the guided tour goes through the creations of Ricardo Valentim and Christian Philipp Müller. The opening of the exhibition by Samuel Rama, will be at 4 p.m., at Gallery 111. A Document premieres the film by the visual artist Andrew Norman Wilson.

On the 12th, at 12 pm, with the architecture of the Rossio train station as the background, the sustainable co-work space of Heden Rossio hosts the Art Talk "Creation, Curatorship and Healing", between Gisela Casimiro, writer, artist and performer, and the writer and artist, André Tecedeiro. At 2 p.m., with limited seats, the guided tour of the exhibitions "Crossing a Bridge in Flames", by the Belgian artist Berlinde de Bruyckere, and "Object, Body and Space", which revisits artistic genres from the 1960s, at the new Museum of Contemporary Art / Centro Cultural de Belém, that will be opening two weeks before LAW and which will have free admission between 10 am and 2 pm, this Sunday. Also at 2 p.m., there will be a performance at the Ando Living building (Rua Alexandre Herculano, 50, 10º).
