The security forces reveal that the inspection will take place on roads where there is a greater volume of vehicles involved in this activity, "in order to guarantee road safety and increase the feeling of security among users".

The statement highlights that "passenger transport has seen notable evolution in recent years, particularly through the introduction of new modes of transport", such as TVDE, whose type of transport is "developed by drivers and operators, subject to own regulations, sometimes in disregard of the legal constraints imposed and the basic traffic rules, particularly with regard to the qualification, certification, and training of drivers and the technical specifications imposed on operating companies and vehicles".

During the operation, road supervision aimed at passenger transport will be intensified, dissuading the practice of activities contrary to current legislation, by drivers and transport companies, as well as seeking to contribute to the promotion of fair competition in this sector.
