According to the monthly bottled LPG price supervision report, which analyses the prices estimated by the regulator, the biggest increase will be seen in the 45 kilo propane G110 bottle, whose price is expected to be 110.02 euros per bottle.
“LPG prices, in January, maintained their upward trajectory, following the behaviour of international prices in the previous month”, reads the report from the Energy Services Regulatory Authority (ERSE), in which the regulator highlights that in the three main gas cylinders sold, “prices (…) rise in January”.
The regulator recalls that in the last month, there was an increasing trend in the international prices of propane and butane, representing an increase of approximately 7.8% and 1.2% for propane and butane, respectively.
For the 11 kilo G26 propane cylinder, the efficient price in January will be 2.19% above the efficient price seen in December – 29.35 euros in November to 29.83 euros in December –, rising to 30.48 euros per bottle this month.
In the 45-kilogram G110 propane bottle, the discrepancy between the efficient price of December and January is 2.45%. This month, consumers must pay 110.02 euros per bottle of G110 propane. In November, the price was 105.45 euros and in December the price was 107.39 euros per bottle.
In the case of the 13 kilogram G26 butane bottle, the difference between the efficient prices of December and January is 0.55%, increasing the price of this cylinder to 31.44 euros per bottle. In December the price stood at 31.27 euros, after having been set at 31.07 euros in November.
