This museum will open its doors to the public for an experience in the world of orchids. The exhibition, through stunning images, reveals the unique beauty and diversity of the shapes and colours of orchids, noble and delicate flowers that bloom in emblematic places in the Algarve interior, such as Barrocal, Fonte Benémola or Rocha da Pena.

More than an aesthetic appreciation, the “Orquídias” exhibition invites a reflection on the crucial importance of preserving biodiversity. The Algarve, with its exuberant natural wealth, is home to a remarkable variety of species, and orchids are considered to be a valuable treasure of this diversity.

This exhibition is an unmissable opportunity for nature lovers, photography enthusiasts and all those who recognise the need to preserve natural heritage.

The “Orquídeas” exhibition will occur at 6pm on February 9, for its inauguration. Open from Monday to Friday, from 9am to 1pm and from 2pm to 5pm, with free entry.
