Divided among 58 sessions between the months of March and July, the initiative will involve 325 artists, most of them regional artists from Madeira. The Baltazar Dias will host a total of 10 co-productions and seven premieres, Cristina Pedra, the Major of Madeira has emphasised.

Some of the shows which will be in the spotlight are “Bantu” on the 15 and 16 March, and “Gabo” on the 12 and 13 April by “Dancing with a Difference”, and “Blind, Deaf and Worlds” and “Truth or Dare” by the Conservatory of Madeira. Cristina Pedra reinforced that she intends to continue making “a big bet on regional young people and artists.”

The presentation of the Baltazar Dias Municipal Theatre program which featured the Youth Generation Festival, strives to promote the work of Madeiran musicians, and the Madeira Mandolin Association's "Abril em Maio" concert. According to the mayor, the Baltazar Dias agenda also features events which mark the ‘25 of April’ 50 anniversary, as well as a concert by Artur Pizarro to celebrate the 120th anniversary of the birth of Luiz Peter Clode.

As Cristina Pedra added, between March and July 2024 “the theatre will develop a very ambitious cultural program and we want this house to be a meeting place, a place to dialogue, to listen to differences, to have different points of view.”
