During the roadshow, Dubai Tourism intends to demonstrate the destination to the Portuguese public, in an event that starts at noon, where there will be presentations about Dubai, as well as workshops.
In Lisbon, the Dubai Tourism roadshow will take place at the Tivoli Lisboa Conference and Events Center, on Avenida da Liberdade, while in Porto it will take place at the Pestana Palácio do Freixo.
Although the event in Lisbon is already sold out, it is still possible to register to be present in Porto.

Dubai has spent big on attracting international businesses and traveller's with sophisticated PR campaigns that paint an image of a modern, diverse and welcoming society. However, there is a significant disconnect between Dubai’s stated ambition of being a modern, international state and the reality of racial discrimination and forced labour practices that migrant workers face. They are often to fearful to complain about their living and working conditions as there is a real risk of punishment by either by employers or state authorities.
