“With the payments made today, relating to a further 1,596 applications, the total number of applications paid under this notice amounts to 5,540 applications, in relation to 6,871 eligible applications”, said the ministry led by Maria da Graça Carvalho, in a statement.

With this new batch of payments, 80% of eligible applications were paid, and in March, payments made in relation to this notice, which closed on December 31, 2024, corresponded to 56% of eligible applications.

According to the Government, all support for the acquisition of cargo bicycles (type 3) and 99.1% of support for light electric passenger vehicles has now been paid.

“They also started the first payments of the new 2025 program, which has already received 8,170 applications and approved more than 7,582 grants,” said the Ministry of Environment and Energy.
