The Perceve Festival in Vila do Bispo is taking place earlier this year, instead of being in September, as usually happens, it will take place between the 7th and 9th of June.

The municipality of Vila do Bispo recalls that “the closed season, a period in which the catching of barnacles is prohibited in the Natural Park of Southwest Alentejano and Costa Vicentina, currently runs between September and December”.

The musical entertainment lineup will soon be announced, as well as the exhibitors of crafts and regional products that will be present in the event's exhibition area.

The Perceve Festival 2024 will take place next to Escola Básica de São Vicente, in Vila do Bispo, and aims, above all, to promote “one of the region’s greatest gastronomic assets, boost the economy, enliven the local community and attract new visitors”.
