Beachgoers have been left surprised by dolphins as they swim close to the shore.
In a video shared by the Institute for the Conservation of Nature and Forests (ICNF) on social media, you can see several dolphins swimming next to a beach in Tróia.
On Facebook, in addition to revealing that the video was captured in Tróia, the ICNF highlights that this was an "involuntary observation" by Roazes-do-Sado.
Dear Newspaper, please have a heart or a healthy level of consciousness. These very beautiful, intelligent, magical and powerful animals already suffer tremendously whilst held ‘captive’ - 'imprisoned' in tanks both in the Algarve and in Lisbon. Please consider using a photo that does not sponsor, suggest, support nor appeal to the slavery of Dolphins. If you don’t have such photos (Dolphins in the wild) please email I have hundreds I will happily donate to your publication at no cost.
