Jenny Clarke President of APAA, has on many occasions the ominous task of advising pet owners that perhaps, early prevention would have been better than the cure. Which often, is, in the last case, tragically economically unviable or unaffordable.

Veterinarian services and hospitals are available almost always 24-7. Association for Protection of Animals Algarve tries to encourage owners of pets to fork out for vaccinations and medications as early as possible. There are some patients, cats, and dogs, who get a helping hand from APAA. Only too aware of what the Leishmaniasis, Heartworm infestations, and Parvovirus can cost. “Not only money but the poor animal’s health and welfare.” Some of these illnesses are killers and maim animals on their way to their destructive ends. Sadly not everyone wants to or gets to see the problem. Especially at the end. “So be kind and treat your animal to the proper care and attention it deserves from a loving owner.” Got it. “New products on the market, can make it easier on the pocket to care for your furry friend.” Jenny smiles. “Also safer with more modern products.” Talk to your vet. Well, your pet’s vet.
