The brand's first hotel unit in the Iberian Peninsula “landed” in Porto, in 2021, promising an innovative and truly technological experience.

The 'robot' hotel is now preparing to reach other locations in the country, according to statements by Daniel Correia, director of Real Estate at UIP, to Jornal de Negócios.

The company, owner of Pine Cliffs, is expected to invest at least another 30 million euros in opening a unit in the centre of the country, the city of which it cannot yet reveal. The Yotel in Lisbon will have double the investment, but will not open this year.

According to the official, UIP is studying investment in other real estate segments, such as senior residences and student accommodation.
