Lisbon: The fine weather is to continue over the weekend although it will be feeling cooler with highs of 26 degrees on Saturday and of 22 degrees on Sunday. On Monday cloud cover is to increase and there will be a chance of rain. Temperatures are to fall further on Tuesday to average highs of 20 degrees.

The north: Saturday will still be feeling hot with highs of 27 degrees and slight cloud cover. On Sunday temperatures are to fall to highs of 23 degrees. On Monday rain is forecast and the showers are to continue the following week although some sunny spells are expected with highs of 19 degrees.

The centre: Hazy high cloud is to continue over the weekend with highs of 28 degrees on Saturday and of 25 degrees on Sunday. Temperatures are to drop from Tuesday to average daily highs of 20 degrees with nightly lows of 10 degrees and intermittent sunshine and cloud cover, although no rain is forecast.

The south: The hot weather is here to stay in the South with highs of 28 degrees forecast for both days and hazy high cloud. Monday will see cloud cover increase slightly but highs will remain at 28 degrees. From Tuesday the temperatures are to fall to highs of 26 degrees with north-westerly winds.

Madeira: Sunshine and light cloud cover is forecast for the weekend with highs of 26 degrees and lows of 18 degrees. The fine weather is to continue the following week but temperatures are to drop slightly from Wednesday to highs of 22 degrees.

The Azores: Heavy cloud cover and sunny spells are expected over the weekend when temperatures are to reach highs of 22 degrees with lows of 16 degrees. There will be a chance of rain on Monday and from Tuesday temperatures are to drop to highs of 19 degrees.
