According to a note from the municipality of Cascais, in the district of Lisbon, contrary to the National Maritime Authority (AMN) report on Wednesday, Conceição beach “was not affected”, nor was it closed to swimming.

The beaches that were closed on Wednesday, after water quality analyses revealed microbiological values above reference parameters, were Parede Beach and Duquesa Beach, according to Cascais City Council.

However, it is also mentioned in the note that on Duquesa Beach “the ban has already been lifted because the analyses already report values within the reference parameters”.
