The APA then advised against going swimming at Parede beach and the Regional Health Authority gave "instructions for the red flag to be raised and warnings to be placed at the beach access points".

According to the AMN, the ban "will remain in place until the results of new water quality analyses indicate that the microbiological values ​​are within the reference parameters".
