In addition to Porto, Viana do Castelo, and Braga, which were already in the yellow, the IPMA issued a new statement with precipitation warnings for the districts of Viseu, Vila Real, and Aveiro between 3:00 pm and 9:00 pm today.

The yellow warning, the least serious on a scale of three, is issued by IPMA whenever there is a risk situation for certain activities depending on the meteorological situation.

The IPMA predicts for today on the continent generally very cloudy skies, periods of rain in the North and Center, which could sometimes be strong, especially in Minho and Douro Litoral, from the afternoon onwards, light to moderate wind, and a small increase in the minimum temperature.

Minimum temperatures will range between 11 degrees Celsius (in Guarda) and 17 (in Faro) and maximum temperatures between 19 degrees (in Viana do Castelo) and 29 (in Beja).
