According to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA), on Saturday, "slightly cloudy or clear skies" and "weak to moderate winds" are expected and there will be a "small increase in the minimum temperature" and "the temperature maximum" throughout mainland Portugal.

For Sunday, June 23rd, the IPMA predicts "slightly cloudy or clear skies, weak to moderate wind, and a small increase in temperature, especially in the North and Centre regions".

Minimum temperatures range between 10ºC (Bragança) and 21ºC (Faro), while maximum temperatures are to soar beyond 30ºC in several regions of the country. Beja (34ºC), Évora (33ºC), and Setúbal (30ºC) are three of the hottest districts during this weekend.

In Funchal, Madeira, temperatures are recorded between 18ºC and 26ºC, while Ponta Delgada, in the Azores, will have a minimum of 18ºC and a maximum of 24ºC.

Algarve temperatures

In the Algarve temperatures are to vary, however on Sunday maximums of 33 degrees are forecast for Faro, 34 degrees in Albufeira, 37 degrees in Lagoa and Silves, and 32 degrees in Lagos.
