According to Publituris, the design hotel has 126 premium and premium rooms with a terrace, offers a gym, buffet breakfast, and wifi.

The project was built on an industrial building used as a warehouse, and thanks to careful restoration, it became a hotel with five floors, three of which are used for rooms and an exclusive terrace for customers, while the basement area was converted into parking.

The ground floor, in turn, is the access area to the common areas. The building was also renovated to create an interior courtyard, an authentic and welcoming refuge that also connects the different areas of the hotel. The work on the north and south facades stands out, completely opposite from a stylistic point of view, creating a contrast that further enriches the result. The building is equipped with solar panels to produce hot water and air conditioning produced by VRV.

Inspired by the concept of “flying”, artists and architects participated in its creation such as Luís Teixeira, responsible for the original idea of the project, Francisca Navio and Miguel Diogo, interior designer, Paulo Simões, landscaper, and the artist Pedro Versteeg. Between them all, they pay homage to Lisbon as a city that takes off and expands from the mouth of the Tagus, climbing through its hills and reaching the entire world, through artistic representations that turn ibis Styles Lisboa Aeroporto into an authentic art gallery.

The palette of colors and materials for the different environments comes from the aeronautical industry and ranges from metallic, ferrous and black-gray tones, to finishes in robust natural leather and organic fabrics, all accompanied by decorative installations that evoke the memory of historic planes and images of the first flying devices, as well as installations related to the sky, with clouds as protagonists.

Natural and artificial light coexist throughout the hotel and constitute an important part of the storytelling. The outdoor spaces are animated by Mediterranean-inspired architecture with a mix of inert and vegetable soils, covered by shrubs of different types and flowers.

The rooms are of two different aesthetic types, distinguished by their surface, furniture, and artistic iconography, iconography inspired by the main theme, “flying”. In turn, the runners will recover great names in the history of aviation.

Creativity, modernity and good humor form the basis of the design of ibis Styles hotels. The brand's approximately 650 hotels around the world offer customers a differentiating experience through particular storytelling – from cycling to cinema, comics or oranges.

With this new incorporation of ibis Styles Lisboa Aeroporto, the ibis Styles family in Portugal and Spain has a portfolio of 16 open hotels and two in the pipeline.
