According to IPMA, from 12 pm today the districts of Bragança, Viseu, Porto, Guarda, Vila Real, Viana do Castelo, Santarém, Castelo Branco, Leiria, Aveiro, Coimbra, and Braga are all under a yellow weather warning.

On Friday, the yellow warning due to precipitation and thunderstorms extends to Portalegre, Beja, Évora, Faro, Setúbal, and Lisbon.

The IPMA warned of forecasts of a worsening of the weather in mainland Portugal, with sometimes heavy precipitation, accompanied by hail and thunderstorms.

According to forecasts, the worsening of weather conditions will continue until Sunday, due to the action of a depression centered west of the Iberian Peninsula which will move northeast from Saturday, thus causing a progressive improvement in the state of the time.

For Saturday, technicians already expect a significant worsening of the weather, with precipitation still occurring, especially in the north and central regions, but with less intensity than in previous days, with no precipitation expected from Sunday onwards.

A drop in temperature is also expected until Saturday, with a gradual recovery from Sunday, following the improvement in the weather.
