The expansion marks a “significant milestone in the company's strategy to extend its presence and enhance its services across the Algarve region”.

Zoie Hawker, Managing Partner of Fine & Country Algarve, said: “We have always listed properties in Albufeira as well as we could, but the lack of an office there gave us a disadvantage. We have been looking for a good office location for the last couple of years and finally found it. One of the main drivers in us taking the decision is that none of the luxury real estate brands have offices in Albufeira. It is perceived as the 'cheap' mass tourism destination of the Algarve, but in reality, some of the most expensive villas on the coast are located here.”

The new Albufeira office is part of Fine & Country Algarve’s broader expansion strategy. Hawker explains, “We plan to have five offices in total, with the next one in Lagos, hopefully by 2025, depending on finding the right location and manager. In Albufeira, we have the ideal location and will be moving staff from some of our other offices, as due to the expansion of our team, we needed extra space.”

Fine & Country Algarve anticipates a significant impact on its business operations and market presence with the addition of the Albufeira office. “We are budgeting for it to represent 10% to 15% growth in our business over the next 12 months,” said Hawker.

She notes the Albufeira office will function as a satellite of the Almancil office, led by Jorge Pereira, Sales & Marketing Director of Fine & Country Algarve, and Almancil Sales Manager, Tiago Chaves.

Hawker emphasised the benefits of the new office for clients: “With a local presence, we can always provide a better service to both buyers and vendors. The extra office space also enables us to recruit more staff and list more properties in the Albufeira area.”

As the only international luxury brand in Albufeira, Fine & Country Algarve offers unique advantages to its clients. “Trends in the Albufeira property market are the same as elsewhere along the coast, with the buyer market becoming more international, especially with strong growth from the USA. Our marketing and international events give us the edge,” noted Hawker.
