On the 12th of July from 8 pm to 11pm the ANPRO Association (Nautical Association of the Recreational Port of Olhão), together with the support of the Municipality of Olhão, invites you to enjoy a free open-air cinema session on the giant screen of the Olhão Marina.

You can expect a memorable evening under the stars with three films: Sea Shepherd Awareness Clips, “War Horses” and “Floripes” with the nights' themes being sustainability and history.

The session opens with Sea Shepherd awareness clips, which highlight the importance of preserving our oceans. Sea Shepherd is a non-profit organisation dedicated to marine conservation activism. Following this, immerse yourself in the gripping story of “War Horses”, an epic film shot in the Ria Formosa. Allow yourself to be moved by the stunning landscapes and touching history. To end the night, discover the history of “Floripes”, an engaging film that gave name to the city of Olhão with the legend of Moura Floripes.

A Community Inspired Initiative

This initiative is a way for the ANPRO Association to help the municipality of Olhão to promote culture, local cinema and environmental awareness. It is also an opportunity for visitors of the region to get to know the beauty of the Ria Formosa, the history of the city of Olhão, and the importance of preserving our planet.

Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to enjoy an open-air film night with family and friends, where there will also be popcorn and drinks available to purchase.
