Sporting Lisbon and Benfica coming to the Algarve Stadium

Two of Portugal's top teams will be coming to the Algarve for pre-season as both clubs prepare for the 2024/25 season.

Sporting Lisbon (the Portuguese champions) will play a pre-season friendly against Sevilla CF.

This is a unique opportunity to watch live the first games of the Portuguese champions, that head into this season with the dream of making history and winning the coveted second league title.

Pre-Season match:

Sporting Lisbon vs Sevilla CF - 23rd July – 8:30pm

Benfica will prepare to take back the Liga Portugal title, with a match against Fulham for the Algarve Trophy.

Fans can look forward to seeing Benfica’s new acquisitions as they face a Fulham side managed by Portuguese coach Marco Silva, who finished 13th in the Premier League last season.

Pre-Season matches:

SL Benfica vs Fulham - 2nd August - 8pm

Incorrect title. Sporting is not Lisbon. It is Sporting Clube Portugal. Both Sporting and Benfica have their stadiums in Lisbon, their names nevetherless are not accurate in your article.
