This is Ana Aragão’s first solo exhibition at the Gallery, after recently exhibiting in London and Tokyo, as well as in the Orient Museum and the House of Architecture. Based on the board game, made of rules and power disputes, is revealed on a monumental wall, lined with drawings of cities to be built: a manifesto to reclaim the space of the imagination.

“Monopolis”

Underdogs hosts the new exhibition of "Paper Architect" Ana Aragão: a reflection on the state of the city and housing in 2024. It is not intended to raise a political flag, but to think about the space.

In the words of Aragão, "The house is not only the habitation of the body but also that of the imagination." It is a series of imaginary cities, which find their conceptual basis in the functioning of the of the board game. To buy a square, you need to advance several positions on the board; to win, it is imperative to bankrupt others.
