Located next to the Arade Congress Centre, construction work on the new hotel is expected to begin in 2025, with the hotel's opening scheduled for 2027, according to Publituris.

The future four-star hotel will emerge from the renovation of a former canning factory, whose main building will house the hotel's reception, bar, and restaurant. Another newly constructed building, to the east of the main building, will house the hotel's 169 accommodation units, including five suites.

Between the two buildings, a central open-air courtyard with gardens and a swimming pool will be built, while the hotel's other facilities will include a gym, spa, and indoor parking.

In a press release, Bruno Canhoto, commercial director of the Água Hotels chain, states that “the proximity to the Arade Congress Centre, one of the largest in the Algarve, with an auditorium with 1,100 seats, makes the hotel an ideal choice for corporate events and business meetings”, noting that this project is “the group's largest in terms of the number of rooms”.

The Água Hotels group currently has in its portfolio the following hotels: Água Hotels Riverside (Parchal), Água Hotels Alvor Jardim, Água Hotels Vila Branca (Lagos), Água Hotels Mondim de Basto and Água Hotels Sal Vila Verde (Cape Verde). It also has two other hotel units under construction in Bragança and Lagos.
