Look up tonight to admire a phenomenon known as a Super Blue Moon.

The Super Moon phenomenon occurs when the Earth's natural satellite is at its perigee, that is, at the point in its orbit where it is closest to our planet. The EarthSky website indicates that the Moon will be about 22 thousand kilometres closer to Earth than its average.

This phenomenon, which visually already shows a larger Moon, becomes even more special with the Blue Moon - the name given to the second full Moon in a single month.

With the two phenomena coinciding this Monday, you will be able to admire a Super Blue Moon tonight in Portugal.
