The musician returns to Portugal, after his last performance in the country, in 2023, at the Cool Jazz Festival, for a show at the MEO Arena, tickets for which will go on sale on Friday, the producer Ritmos e Blues announced today, in a statement.

'Say Hello To The Hits' will start in Belfast, on May 31st, passing through 16 countries, for a total of 27 shows, which will end in Madrid, on August 2nd.

According to the show's promoters, this tour will have a new production, never before seen in Europe and the United Kingdom, and "promises to be a magical tribute to Richie's enduring legacy as one of music's greatest songwriters and entertainers, and a true cultural icon".

Throughout his musical career, Lionel Richie has won numerous awards - including a Grammy, Oscar and Golden Globe - and has sold more than 125 million records worldwide.

His musical career spans several decades, over which he produced songs such as 'Hello', 'All Night Long', 'Say You Say Me', 'We Are The World', 'Easy', among others.

Tickets will go on sale Friday, October 25, 2024, at meoblueticket.pt, in MEO stores and usual locations.
