The two bottles are for sale at Martins Wine Advisor Office & Wine Shop, in S. Romão (Serra da Estrela), and owner Cláudio Martins would like them to stay in Portugal, where he believes there is a market for this, and there are Portuguese investors with enough purchasing power to acquire these luxury products.
“These two gems, which I would like to stay in Portugal, can only be purchased to order and represent a unique opportunity for wine and champagne lovers, because they contain the combination of the expertise of Loïc Pasquet [enologist] and the quality tradition of the Boerl & Kroff, by Stefane Sésé”, said Cláudio Martins in a report by ECO.
Boerl & Kroff is a well-regarded and well-known name among champagne fans, for its quality and meticulous care in production.
One would assume that anyone with vast wealth would have enough intelligence to take a pass on this silly offer. Would they buy it for the label and provenance to show off or to enjoy the contents. Silly season news.
