According to a note, the authority says that it carried out an inspection operation, at a "national level", "targeted at restaurants and 'Fast Food' establishments located in shopping centres".

150 economic operators were inspected and 21 administrative proceedings were instituted.

ASAE writes that the objective of the inspection was "to verify compliance with applicable legal standards, with emphasis on ensuring food safety for consumers and the quality of foodstuffs and to verify the standards in force".
