The 'Cinto-me Vivo' campaign, which runs until next Monday, includes awareness-raising actions by the ANSR and inspection operations by the GNR and PSP, the authorities said in a joint statement, sharing Notícias ao Minuto.
The ANSR, GNR and PSP remind everyone that the use of safety devices is essential and urge everyone to use them correctly.
These entities recommend the use of an approved child seat, properly installed and adapted to the child's height and weight, the use of a seat belt in all seats of the vehicle and on all journeys, even short distances, and the use of an approved model helmet, properly adjusted and fastened.
This is the fourth of 11 awareness and inspection campaigns planned for this year, within the scope of the 2025 National Inspection Plan (PNF).
By the end of the year, seven more campaigns will be carried out, one per month, with awareness-raising and monitoring actions.
As in 2024, this year's PNF will focus on raising awareness and monitoring campaigns: speed, alcohol, safety accessories, mobile phones and motorbikes.
