The basket with 63 essential food items now costs 239.42 euros, 69 cents more than last week.

In a statement, the association also indicated that in relation to the same period in 2024, "there is a difference of €4.23".

According to the analysis on 30 April, onions were the product that increased the most in price last week, with a rise of 16%. This was followed by spiral pasta (+12%) and ground roasted coffee (+12%).

Compared to the same period in 2024, eggs (+33%), ground roasted coffee (29%) and beef (29%) were the foods that increased the most in price.

Since the beginning of the year, between January 1 and April 30, 2025, the biggest price increases were recorded in products such as eggs (+26%), salmon (+19%) and tomatoes (+18%).
