The warning in the districts of Porto, Setúbal, Santarém, Viana do Castelo, Coimbra and Braga will be in effect until 6 pm on 28 May, and Bragança, Viseu, Évora, Guarda, Vila Real, Castelo Branco, Portalegre and Beja until 6 pm on 30 May due to the persistence of high maximum temperatures.

Fire risk

Regarding fires, the Faro district will have municipalities at maximum risk, at least until 31 May, and several inland regions of the country will face a very high risk.

On 28 May, the municipalities of Loulé, São Brás de Alportel, and Tavira in the Faro district are at maximum risk of wildfires, with almost all mainland municipalities at very high or high risk.
