The bathing season in the Algarve usually starts on 1 June and runs until the end of September, with the exception of Albufeira, which became the first municipality in the Algarve to open its bathing season on 15 May.

The beginning of June in the Algarve has brought high temperatures and plenty of sunshine, making it the perfect time to spend a day at the beach.

Our video was filmed at Praia da Rocha, where the beach remained busy even at 6 pm. Known for its expansive stretch of sand and excellent facilities, it makes it a favourite among both locals and tourists.
